This privacy policy is divided up into two sections: the first part is about the information Wix.com collects from you as part of their hosting of this website. The second part is about the information that the people involved in running the Author Solidarity initiative collect from you as part of running the group.

WIX.COM WEB HOSTING

Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to run our organisation. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

Wix.com receives, collects and stores any information you enter on our website. In addition, Wix.com collects the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; and computer and connection information. In addition to information collected by Wix.com described above, the people involved in running Author Solidarity may also collect information you provide us through this website. This is likely to include (but is not limited to):

Any information you give us for the purpose of making an author profile for you on the site
Any communications you have via the site with the admins
Any content you post yourself on the site (eg, if you write a blog post).

The information we collect is used only for what we consider reasonable for the purposes of running the Author Solidarity network, and we won't be collecting any information that you don't volunteer yourself.
